Kate joined Artichoke as Associate Producer in 2007.   Her producing work for other companies includes Robert Wilson’s Walking for Norfolk and Norwich Festival as part of the Olympic Cultural Festival and for others including performance artist Mem Morrison and poet and broadcaster Luke Wright. 

In addition to her consultancy work with Artichoke, Kate regularly works with Bonnar Keenlyside, where studies have included business planning for Alexandra Palace Theatre, Theatre Royal Newcastle, Theatre Royal Margate and options appraisals for the Arts Council of Wales and Hornsey Town Hall.

Tilda has worked at Artichoke since 2017, first as our Administrator and then in the Development team before becoming Producer.

Her interest in large-scale arts events comes from a lifelong love of festivals, and alongside Artichoke she has worked at Brainchild, an independent grassroots arts organisation and festival, currently as their Music Programme Manager.

Prior to joining Artichoke in June 2017 Matilda studied History of Art at Leeds University and Culture Studies at the Erasmus University Rotterdam whilst working for a number of arts organisations (including International Film Festival Rotterdam and Shambala Festival) in production and artist liaison roles.

James joined the Artichoke team in January 2023, after the completion of an undergraduate degree in Music at City, University of London.

Whilst at university, James undertook research into how experiences of sound can be creatively reimagined through composition. He is particularly interested in soundscape studies, and environmental sound recording. James previously worked as a Performing Arts teacher across London and Kent, working with children of all ages and community groups. He believes strongly that arts education should be accessible to all.

Evie has worked in visual arts since graduating from University of Birmingham in 2021 with a BA in Classical Literature and Civilisations. She has interned in Collections at the Royal Shakespeare Company, spent two years at an independent luxury cinema working in administration, marketing, membership and events, and also spent over a year at Mall Galleries, home to a visual arts charity. Here, Evie helped with the execution of over a hundred exhibitions and events, for a variety of clientele. 

She also recently completed a short course at City University in Curation and Exhibition Management.

Bakul Patki is a freelance curator, creative producer and cultural consultant specialising in fine art, photography, design and architecture. 

She works independently and for organisations to devise, develop and deliver projects with individual artists, studios, institutions, festivals, and charities, as well as brands who have an interest in working with and supporting creativity. 

She is passionate about bringing art into the public realm - extending its reach and amplifying its impact by removing physical, political and perceived barriers. 

Over her career she has curated and produced exhibitions, installations, performances and panels, at a number of prestigious locations; including Royal Hampton Court Palace; Somerset House; Piccadilly Circus; the Photo Museum of Ireland in Dublin; The Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest; and Documenta 15 in Kassel (collateral).

Anna Vinegrad has worked with Artichoke on every project since Antony Gormley’s One & Other commission for the Fourth Plinth in 2009, responsible for devising and managing Artichoke’s media relations campaigns. Anna joined as a full-time member of staff in 2016 to head up the Communications Team.

Her previous experience includes heading up the marketing department at Thames & Hudson and Head of Visual Arts & Culture at Idea Generation until December 2010, and marketing management roles at Pearson Education and Reaktion Books,.

Anna’s work with other arts organisations and festivals includes 14-18 NOW, the official commemoration programme for WW1 (2014), Enniskillen International Beckett Festival (2012, 2013), the Sonica sound art festival in Glasgow (2012,2013), SNAP Art at the Aldeburgh Festival (2013, 2014) and exhibitions and events for the Wellcome Collection and Wellcome Trust (2009, 2011).

Anna was previously a member of the steering group for FORMAT International Photography Festival and a Fellow of the RSA. She holds a PhD from the University of London.

Selina is an arts marketing consultant with 15 years’ experience of delivering creative marketing campaigns across the culture sector for a variety of arts organisations, venues and festival programmes including the London Borough of Culture, 14-18 NOW and Kirklees Year of Music. In addition, she delivers brand and website development projects including Love Camden, as well as marketing and audience development strategies for the likes of 59 Productions, Belfast Ensemble and LEEDS 2023. Selina is the Chair of Fevered Sleep's board of trustees, an arts organisation that makes bold new work for and with adults and children. 

Arlowe's background in Performing Arts is highlighted by a track record of collaborations with renowned artists such as Baaba Maal, Sophie Ellis Bexter, and the Hot 8 Brass Band. They freelance as a dance teacher for Kinetika Bloco; performing and leading workshops across the UK. They have performed at major events and venues, including the London Olympics, Notting Hill Carnival, Bestival, the Southbank Centre, Royal Albert Hall, Roundhouse, and even in New Orleans, solidifying their reputation as exceptional musicians and performers.

Arlowe's dedication to promoting inclusivity in the arts led them to joining Artichoke in January 2022, leveraging their experience in public performances and community arts projects to make a positive impact.

Michaela has built a strong career in the charity and arts sector since graduating from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2023 with a BA in Media and Communications. In 2024, they successfully coordinated a high-profile auction for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and have since worked professionally across a range of creative disciplines, including graphic design, scriptwriting, and film editing.

After graduating with a BA in Contemporary Textile Practice in Cardiff,  Emily left Wales to work as a freelance textile designer in London. After a year as a designer Emily moved to Lazarides Ltd. beginning her career as an office assistant and moving to become the Gallery Manager, working alongside emerging and international artists, to produce events and large-scale exhibitions. After several years she moved to become the Operations Manager gaining financial management experience, and overseeing the operational running of a print studio and website. 

Emily left Lazarides to join Artichoke in 2016.

Stephen joined the Administration & Finance team at Artichoke in 2024, following a year in Artichoke's Production team.

Before joining Artichoke, he worked in the Concerts department at the Philharmonia Orchestra. He holds a BA in Music from the University of Bristol and has studied at the University of Oxford.

Katy is working with Artichoke as Lumiere 2025 Producer. From 2015 – 2019 Katy was instrumental to Hull’s journey as UK City of Culture 2017, first as Executive Producer for the pivotal year and then as Creative Director and CEO of the successor company Absolutely Cultured. Prior to this, Katy had worked  with Artichoke on some of the UK’s most iconic events, including Royal de Luxe’s The Sultan’s Elephant, and Antony Gormley’s One & Other Fourth Plinth commission in Trafalgar Square. She is Director of Pinwheel Ltd.

Ma'ayan first joined Artichoke in 2010 following an MA in Postcolonial studies at Goldsmiths, and an undergraduate in Anthropology at the University of Aberdeen. Subsequently she held roles at the Institute of Contemporary Arts and Children & the Arts. Previous experience includes the Woodstock Film Festival, New York; English Weekly, Beijing; and Frieze, London. She returned to Artichoke in January 2017.

Emily joined Artichoke’s fundraising team in 2017 and became Head of Trusts & Foundations in 2023. She works with grant-making organisations to support Artichoke’s arts, education and community engagement programmes. She has also worked as a freelance bid writer for a number of arts, music and third sector organisations across the UK.

S joined the team in September 2023. She is dedicated to fundraising for arts, music, and culture. Her background includes supporting participation and engagement with homeless youth at Centrepoint and fundraising for safe spaces for young people during evenings, weekends and holidays for Future Youth Zone. S is skilled in securing grants, stewardship, reporting and digital fundraising and she is excited to bring big, bold and vibrant ideas to life with Artichoke.

Phoebe graduated with a BA in Fine Art from UAL. She has previously worked in a range of arts and creative roles including as a creative workshop leader, and as an intern with an Arts Festival. Most recently prior to joining Artichoke, Phoebe worked at the Barbican Art Gallery.

Elsie graduated with a BA in Art History from the University of British Columbia. She previously worked managing large-scale public art projects, collaborating with artists, galleries, architects, municipalities and communities to deliver meaningful public spaces. Her previous work experience also includes event management and client services.

Lyndel has been a fundraiser in the arts for fifteen years and more recently specialising in Individual Giving and Events.  She has previously worked as a radio and television presenter in Australia and in Public Relations.  Lyndel is delighted to be working with the team to create exciting fundraising events and grow the support network for the charity.
